Sarkozy se atreve a dudar en público del cambio climático

POLITICO.- French presidential hopeful Nicolas Sarkozy suggested climate change isn’t caused by man, a French weekly reported Wednesday.

“Climate has been changing for four billion years,” the former president told a panel of business leaders this week, the weekly Marianne reported. “Sahara has become a desert, it isn’t because of industry. You need to be as arrogant as men are to believe we changed the climate.”

Sarkozy has been critical of climate change coverage in the media before, saying that too much attention was focused on international climate talks last December: “They are only talking about the COP21.” He said media should have focused on the terror attacks that killed 130 people in Paris in November instead of covering the climate summit.
